Learn how your body moves and how to train for the activities that matter — whether you are coming back from an injury or building strength for the next season.
You may have been told to rest, stretch, exercise more, or simply accept that your body is getting older. But you still have questions.
Why does this movement hurt?
Why do I keep dealing with the same setback?
Why do some exercises help while others make things worse?
Why is it so hard to stay consistent?
At Twice as Fit, we do not begin by forcing a solution. We begin by listening. We look at how you move, how you live, what you have experienced, and what you want to be able to do.
Instead of only asking, "How do we stop this feeling?" we also ask:
"Why might this be happening?"
Because when you better understand the cause, you can make a better next move.
Training should help you enjoy your life — not take it over. It should prepare you to:
The goal is not to spend your life preparing to live. The goal is to use training so you can live more fully.
Exercise is physical activity. Training has a purpose. Training helps prepare your body for something that matters to you — walking without fear, returning to the golf course, getting up from the floor, traveling, leading your family, or performing at a higher level.
Our work begins with three simple questions:
What are you preparing for?
What is your body communicating?
What does your next step need to be?
Twice as Fit lives in the space between traditional fitness and medical care. We are not here to diagnose you or replace your healthcare team. We are here to teach you.
Our goal is not to make you dependent on us. Our goal is to help you become more capable with or without us. You will learn how to:
The Discover your Life through Movement system.
Before changing your body, you must be willing to learn. This map helps you clear the runway, become more coachable, and develop the courage to try something new.
Healing begins with a vision. This map helps you understand what you are moving toward and what you no longer want to repeat.
Movement is something you can learn — through primers that prepare your body, patterns that organize movement, and positions that build strength and control.
Your Training is connected to the rest of your life. This Map identifies key components of your training. The 8 Essentials — Belief, Purpose, Relationships, Rest/Recovery, Prayer/Meditation/Breath, Nourishment, Get Outside, and Movement — organize your personal training.

Your body carries your history. Your strengths. Your setbacks. Your habits. Your fears. Your experiences.
We do not ignore those things. We use them as information. Everything you have experienced can help us understand where you are and how to move forward.
Training is about discovering what is possible within you.
Twice as Fit Squared was founded by twin brothers Alexander and Sean Courtney in 2012. Our work grew from our own experiences with sports, injury, pain, learning, and personal development.
We discovered that many people were being given exercises without being taught how to understand their bodies. We wanted to create a different experience — one built around education, where people could ask questions, where training could happen anywhere.
Today, we help people develop the knowledge, movement skills, and self-respect needed to take greater ownership of their physical lives.
A community built on education, movement, and showing up for one another.

Imagine being able to move without constantly second-guessing yourself. Imagine understanding how to adjust your training when life changes.
Imagine knowing what to do at home, while traveling, or when you cannot get to a gym. Imagine feeling prepared for the activities, people, and responsibilities that matter most.
Not chasing perfection. Building preparation.
Not fighting your body. Learning from it.
Not waiting for life to become easier. Developing the ability to meet it.
