Small Changes to our every day lives can create big success. Change can be scary, especially when we have to take big steps. People often come to Twice as Fit thinking that they have to rearrange their entire lives. We believe this approach is too drastic and not realistic. If we can build on one small successful behavior change, then we may be able to build upon this success with additional behavior changes.
When setting a small goal/change consider the following:
- Where am I right now? This allows us to be realistic and set a realistic goal.
- What helps me reinforce this action? What deters me?
- Who is a part of my team for help?
- Why is this my goal? What is my intention?
It takes time to develop a specific behavior, change can take just as long; it’s worth it!
