Our bodies are constantly moving and maneuvering 3 – Dimensionally in order to complete daily tasks. These tasks require the body to bend and stretch through great ranges of motion. Stretching tends to be a neglected area of fitness, or some think. When taking the body through a lunge with a reach, we are stretching!
Lunging allows us to become aware of our muscles stretching, and how stability – the ability to control mobility (Stretching) – plays an integral role in stretching. Mobility and Stability constantly work as a unit, allowing smooth, functional movement.

Together We Tri was held Sunday, November 8th at the Park Center in Glenview. Each competitor had fifteen minutes to complete as much distance in the three disciplines – biking, running, and swimming. The coordinators, Libby and Julie were fantastic! Their attitudes and personalities really helped turn the environment into a powerful and positive experience. Attitude makes a big difference and can really rub off on not only competitors, but anyone who decides to join the atmosphere!

Together we aimed to help people recover from their event but also to spread the knowledge of our expertise.
