September was a month of continued learning for Twice as Fit! We had some great opportunities to meet some educators who have been making a difference in the world of Health and Movement. We are, first and foremost, grateful for these opportunities. Our overall learning helps us help you, with the hopes that we can make a global impact.
We didn’t learn anything that was necessarily new or innovative. Rather, we have been reinforcing our life and movement principles with multiple and different perspectives. We can all look at the same thing, but have totally different interpretations. The more we have an understanding of these interpretations, the more tools we have in our toolbox to help others. If you are a carpenter, and you use a hammer a lot, try using a saw or even a sledgehammer. These tools work great, exploring applications and techniques can create a whole new way of thinking.
Using our tools in our tool belt is a recipe we love using to continue our understanding of the human body and how we are able to move more effectively. These skills will help us to enjoy the activities that make us who we are!
