
Function – Everybody’s talkin about the new way of walking. What is it? Simply put, function is you!
As we coach individuals with movement, we like to break it down so everyone can understand it for themselves, and apply it to their goals/life. Understanding the fundamentals of exercise helps us create strategies inside and outside of the gym.
1. Foundation – These activities include bending, reaching, walking, lifting. These are Movements that most people perform on a daily basis
2. Performance – Name your game, this is tennis, running, rock climbing. These movements help people feel confidence and have fun with movement. These Movements are often specific goals of Exercisers – getting better or back to it
3. Prevention – Recovery helps our performance and strengthens our foundation. An easy and fun way to enhance prevention training, try to vary your performance and foundational drills. Alot of the time we just need a little Variability in our lives
